When burning hot and/or for a longer period of time, the connection between the Handpiece and the Cord can heat up to uncomfortable levels. The Cork Connector Protector will shield your hand/wrist from the hot metal connection.
Simply slide the cork onto the female end of the cord. Then insert the Handpiece into the Cord. And just slide the Cork Connector Protector over the metal connection between pen and cord.
